Terms

Overview of Terms and Conditions for course upgrading (full written details on terms for all authoring projects available on request).

1. Whereupon a trainer or 'author' is assigned a courseware upgrade project, the author shall in most cases be sent the courseware file for an earlier version. This is classed as the 'template'  to show the CoursewareCo style, structure formatting and methodology for the given course. The courseware file sent to the author shall remain the intellectual property of The Courseware Company and must not be copied, sold or offered for sale.

2. The upgrade (authoring) work shall always include updating and checking new versions of the course exercises, as used in the earlier version. Wherever possible we like to keep the same exercises through application courseware updates.

3. Payment for courseware authoring and upgrading shall be made after proof reading by our staff. Authors must submit an invoice, including VAT if applicable. Reference must be made on your invoice to the project reference, given at time of allocation.

4. Once a project has been allocated, a first or final draft will be expected within the time specified and agreed with the author. If, for any reason, the deadline cannot be met, let us know as soon as possible. Where failure to meet a deadline is due to acceptance of new or other - non CoursewareCo - work commitments, we reserve the right to cancel the assignment and you will be expected to delete any files sent to you, which remain the intellectual property of the Courseware Company and must not be copied, sold or offered for sale.
